A quick note: I think my previous post Pratchett, HP and Summery Executions didn't show on all friends pages of my lj friends. Strange.
I have loved Duma's "The Three Musketeers" and its sequences since my childhood, both the books and the movies. May be I am biased, but imo the Russian movie "The Three Musketeers" is the best one. It is certainly the best one I have ever seen – songs, the acting, the atmosphere – all wonderfully convey the spirit of Duma's work. And now I have found the full movie on YouTube with English subtitles, so that my English speaking lj friends can enjoy it too! If you want to watch a good movie, loved the books or just are bored, try it. I hope you won't be disappointed and would love to hear about your impressions.
Below I give links to the first 5 out of 26 parts. The rest can be easily found on YouTube by writing D'Artagnan and Three Musketeers -- _ of 26, of course.
