But, who is this girl?
Dec. 22nd, 2007 07:53 pmAfter seeing woeful ignorance of Russian New Year traditions among some born in Israel people (which, on further consideration, wasn't very surprising), I decided to check the state of things in countries, which while not being Russia still celebrate the holiday. All you need to do is to look at the picture and answer one very simple question without cheating (= searching the information on Internet):
Do you know who this girl (most likely) is?
Choose the best answer.
a) Of course, she is the girl, who will now get a present from Father Frost.
b) She is Snowflake, a character first created in Soviet Russia to lighten Father Frost's burden of entertaining children alone on public New Year events.
c) She is Father Frost's granddaughter, bringing children presents with him.
d) Other.
