Happy New Year 2023

2022 was disastrous for several countries I feel connected to and not altogether good for my own country. 

Lets hope 2023 will bring a few welcoming changes and start healing what was broken in 2022. If it's too much to wish for, at least let 2023 not be as depressing as it appears in forecasts. 

The old Ukrainian wish seems relevant in a new way:  "God grant us that in a year we will be able to look into each other's eyes" /  "Дай нам Боже аби через рік ми могли подивитись один одному у вічі"

"Я верю в нашу общую звезду,

Хотя давно за нею не следим мы, —
