"Summery Executions" is a joke on "Summary Executions". In this game one chooses fanfic summaries, which contain funny mistakes. I decided to change the rules a bit and choose also summaries, which surprised or made me LOL at the first sight. For example, Iris is deaf. Iris is telepathic. Iris is that person the neighbors always say was so nice and quiet while the police handcuff her... The first 2 sentences made me, as an experienced fic-reader, expect Mary-Sue I Love You fanfic, while the third suddenly reversed the expectations. Or this one Ron looks at the different ways the angels have slighted his best friend. In the books we got such abundance of people who hurt Harry, especially in angsty OoTF: the Dursleys, DD, Ron, Hr, Draco, the entire school, etc. Now the angels slighted him too!
Explanation Note from previous SEs: My criterion for choosing summaries is their being funny, not the fic's badness. If I am highly amused by a summary, I think probably other people will enjoy reading it too for one reason or another. Since a summary is supposed to make people want to read a fic, its' being funny is a plus (if it’s intentionally funny, of course). Sometimes there can be summaries of wonderful fics. I read only a very small part of those fics, but if I read a fic and like it, I will give a link (this post has 3). I will never link to a fic I didn’t like, since that would be a sort of flaming.
